Alex Len heads for the Hawks

Atlanta and the 25-year-old center agreed on a two-year, $ 8.5 million contract, according to a report from The Athletic. The agreement is fully guaranteed, says the report.

Len averaged 8.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in 69 games for the Suns last season.

Len was originally selected by Phoenix with the fifth pick in the 2013 project. He spent his first five NBA seasons with the Suns.

The Suns selected Arizona's former center Deandre Ayton with No. 1 pick in last month's repechage.

The Hawks finished last season with a record of 24-58. playoffs for the first time since 2006-07. They recently acquired playmaker Jeremy Lin of the Nets and offered Dennis Schroder to the Thunder in exchange for Carmelo Anthony.
