According to Hafilwa, the revised curriculum subjects learners to unsafe conditions. Learners aged 15 to 16 are forced to rent or stay alone without a guide.
Hafilwa said poverty-stricken parents were paying up to N $ 400 a month and had children sleeping in rooms adjacent to bars and noisy places.
"This is happening in Endola, Omungwelume, Ondobe, Eenhana, Oshikunde, Okongo and many other areas," he said.
NANTU called on the president to intervene to save the learners currently suffering at Omungwelume SS, the Oupili Combined School, SS Ondobe, Shituwa SS and many others in order to save the lives of the students. to improve the life of a Namibian child.
