The key characters of the upcoming Spider-Man game get their own Funko Pops. The four characters are due out in September, the same month as the video game. The revelation coincides with new Spider-Man video game announcements from San Diego Comic-Con.
The four Funko Pops are from a Peter Parker unmasked, Mister Negative, Miles Morales and Mary Jane. Fans of the crawler will probably recognize Peter and Mary Jane, but the four characters have a story in the Spider-Man comics. Mr. Negatif is a super villain who normally clashes with Spider-Man, Punisher, or Cape and Dagger. He has superhuman strength, and in the Spider-Man video game, he can also shoot explosions of negative energy from his hands. Miles Morales is the new Spider-Man in the continuity of Ultimate Marvel, which takes over after the death of Peter Parker. He's not as strong as Peter, but he's faster, can hide himself in his environment, and has paralyzing venom stabs in his fingertips. Miles does not seem to have his powers in the game yet.
Spider-Man is a exclusive Sony PS4 coming soon. The video game will tell an original story, in which Peter clashes with Mister Negative, who runs a gang called Inner Demons, and a new Sinister Six who has been dressed in new technological combinations that enhance their abilities. Police captain Yuri Watanabe, Mary Jane Watson and Miles Morales join Peter in his efforts to save the city of New York from the growing number of threats
A limited edition PS4 Pro bundle for Spider-Man has been announced at SDCC 2018 The bundle includes the game, a red PS4 that has been styled with the white spider that covers Peter's new suit, a red Dualshock 4 wireless controller, and added digital content.
