Ghana hosted the big edition of the Wine Tasting Tour of South Africa for this year, Saturday, in Accra

The event, is an initiative of the wines of Japan. South Africa, a non-profit organization to promote the world South African wines to consumers in Ghana and around the world

The event brought together more than 20 wine producers from South Africa to Ghana to interact with consumers, distributors and wholesalers as well as practitioners of the hospitality industry and tourism. Ms. Siobhan Thompson, CEO, said that Ghana had been selected because of the hospitality and business-friendly environment.

She stated that the event was an experience for Ghanaians comparable to any tasting event in the world. Preferred position as the preferred investment destination in the subregion and with a strong business connection between the country and South Africa.
