VANCOUVER – B2Gold Corp. . delivered what he says are "very solid" second quarter and first half results this year. Gold production doubled to 240,000 ounces and revenues jumped from $ 121 million (all US dollars) to $ 285 million for the quarter.

These results were made possible by the Fekola gold project, which reached commercial production in November 2017 in Mali. It is now operating above target flow, providing a great source of low cost gold. The recommendations for this mine for 2018 were between 420,000 and 430,000 oz. B2Gold also operates the Masbate gold mine in the Philippines, the El Limon and La Libertad gold mines in Nicaragua and the Otjikoto gold mine in Namibia.

Consolidated gold production in the first six months of 2018 was 479,777 oz., 32,560 oz. above the budget and 225.593 oz. over the same period in 2017.
