Justified became the 13th Triple Crown Crown in June, and coach Bob Baffer t announced Wednesday that the foal would not return to the track due to an injury.

Here are five things we will remember again about Justify in 20 years:

1. He broke the "Curse of Apollo" "

Whether you believe in the curse or not, it was part of the Kentucky Derby tradition.

Apollo, in 1882, had been the only horse to win the Kentucky Derby without running as a 2 year old child until Justify completed the feat last May

Every time you break 136 years old series, you will be remembered for that.

2. Seattle Slew (1977) was the only winner of Triple Crown undefeated before Justify, but Seattle Slew continued to run eight more times after the Belmont and finished with a career record of 14-2-0 in 17 starts

Justify, who finished with a record of 6 in 6, joined Count Fleet (1943) as the sole winner of Triple Crown who did not run again after Fleet's career was also interrupted by injuries.

3. He has accomplished so much in so little time.

Justify's six-race race lasted 112 days, from its 9 ½ opening win on February 18 in Santa Anita to its 1 over win over Gronkowski on June 9 in Belmont. While others will catch up Justify 's brief career, it' s hard to say how impressive it was for the horse to win six races on four different tracks in varying conditions over such a short period of time.

Justify issued whenever it was requested.

4. It's a beautiful animal with a little mood.

Perhaps the most striking feature of Justify is his muscular frame, especially around his hips. He is built like he could run forever.

His brown coat looks almost coppery when he is in the sun.

And It Could Be

"Justify, You Can Walk up to him and he could give you three, four, five seconds and then he ended up with you, "said coach Bob Baffert. "He'll try to bite your head, it's not naughty, he's just a big hard horse, he'll get you out of the stall."

5. Until then or not, Justify Forever will be compared to the American Pharoah winner of the Triple Crown in 2015 and is running out of almost every aspect.

First, the American Pharoah continued to race after winning Triple Crown and closed his career with a thrilling victory in the Classic Breeders' Cup at Keeneland.

Baffert, who trained both horses, even called the American Pharoah his "first love". It seems that most racing fans feel the same when comparing the two.
