ARLINGTON, Texas – Edwin Encarnacion had a RBI single in the ninth inning to lead Cleveland to a 9-8 win against the Texas Rangers on Friday night, when the Central AL Indians debuted with their two new lifters.

Jose Ramirez, who won the 30th major league lead early in the game, led the eleventh with a center-back double against Matt Moore (1-6). Encarnacion followed with a simple right, although he was thrown out trying to get an extra base.

The Rangers had the bases loaded without setbacks in the 10th after three consecutive singles to start the round against Zach McAllister (1-2), the seventh Indian pitcher. Elvis Andrus retired on field at an outfielder before Robinson Chirinos and Joey Gallo – whose two consecutive homers from Cody Allen and two outs in the ninth had tied the game – both were eliminated.

Dan Otero then scored a perfect eleven for his first stop on three occasions.

Gallo has signed twice, giving him 24 for the season. His two-point shot towards the center-right in seventh end allowed the Rangers to register a 7-6 record when he was the first batter to face Brad Hand, the new All-Star reliever. Indians

. The Padres, and Adam Cimber, former right-handed right-hander, were traded Thursday in San Diego. Hand withdrew his three hitters and was followed by Cimber, who dropped a single on the outside before inducing a double-play that ended the eighth.

Allen, who had a single knockout at his 21 chances before the All-Star break, got the first two outs in the ninth before the two long balls sent the game to extra innings.

Shin-Soo Choo, the only All-Star this season for the Rangers, was singled out in each of his first two-to-bats to extend his best base series in 52 games.

With a temperature of 107 degrees in the first pitch, it was the warmest start to the game at the Rangers baseball stadium, which is in its 25th season. It was still 92 degrees when the game ended 4 hours and 48 minutes later – just minutes before midnight.

The only hottest game in the majors this season was July 7, at 108 degrees when the Angels of Los Angeles Pitch against the Dodgers

Right-handed star Trevor Bauer made five goals and awarded nine hits. He was fired after three consecutive singles to start the fifth. Bauer retired seven. He also started Sunday in Cleveland's final game, and did not participate in the All-Star Game.

Choo's 52-game series is the longest of the majors since Kevin Millar's 52-player for Baltimore in 2007. He did not include his single in the all-star game on Tuesday night. This is the longest season series in the history of the Rangers. Will Clark reached 59 consecutive games in 1995-96

To make room on the active list of Hand and Cimber, the Indians chose outfielder Greg Allen, right-handed Adam Plutko and southpaw Tyler Olson -A Columbus. Cleveland also recalled 3B Yandy Diaz from Columbus and brought back from Melky Cabrera.

Rangers: RF Nomar Mazara was put on the 10-day DL, retroactively to Tuesday, because of # 39, a sprain in the right hand. He wounded his thumb on his glove hand on a defensive play when he played for the last time on Saturday in Baltimore.
