Falcons star receiver Julio Jones does not plan to show up at training camp on Thursday, according to a report by the NFL Network.
Jones and his agent were informed that he would not get a new contract.
The Falcons have not budgeted for renegotiation during this offseason and are focusing on contract extensions for Grady Jarrett, Jake Matthews and Ricardo Allen.
Jones was informed of the team's decision several weeks ago, after the mandatory minicamp in June, the AJC learned.
