The actress of Stranger Things a 14-year-old actress, getting ready for her debut on the big screen and her fans had a first glimpse of what her new character has in store thanks to a new trailer. Godzilla: The King of Monsters

Released Saturday, the preview shows Brown's character, Madison Russell, amidst a variety of monsters rife in the world then that they are caught in their own battle. With Godzilla, the film also features Japanese monsters Mothra, Rodan and the three-headed Ghidorah king.

Brown is certainly no stranger to a world in peril – his breakthrough role as Eleven on the popular Netflix series is facing supernatural forces that seize their small town of Hawkins, Indiana. The star even gives us eleven vibes when we see her screaming and covering her ears

This sequel to the 2014 reboot Godzilla marks Brown's first film in his successful career. She joins a group of Hollywood greats, including Oscar-nominated Vera Farmiga who portrays her mother, Dr. Emma Russell, in the film, as well as the Oscar Sally Hawkins ] and Exit from Bradley Whitford .

The character of Farmiga is a scientist working for a beasts organization called Monarch. As director Michael Dougherty has already told Entertainment Weekly the mother-daughter duo is kidnapped by "a mysterious organization, with its own plans for the creatures".

Kyle Chandler playing his ex-husband, goes to his rescue with two members of the monarch, played by Ken Watanabe and Hawkins. However, we are not so sure that Brown's character needs a lot of rescue – when she puts her finger on one of the creatures, let's just say that it's not ripped to shreds .

Still, Madison does not seem so happy with her mother when she calls her the monster.

Monsters will hit the big screen in May 2019.
