Phil Hellmuth Wins the 15th Gold Bracelet in 2018 World Series of Poker's $ 5000 Turbo No-Limit Hold 'em Event

Phil Hellmuth once again made history of poker. The 53-year-old Poker Hall of Fame member was already the absolute leader of World Series of Poker titles with 14. Hellmuth extended his advantage today by beating a field. of 452 victories in 2018 WSOP $ 5,000 no-limit hold 'em 30 minutes of level event to capture his fifteenth bracelet and the first prize $ 485,082.

Hellmuth entered the final day of this fast-paced event in eighth position with 39 remaining players. By the time the final table was established, he was second behind Alan Sternberg. Hellmuth found a way to continue building his stack without knocking any of his opponents to the final table en route to the heads-up.

Steven Wolansky, a two-time bracelet winner, eliminated three players at the final table to take a 3-on-1 lead in the heads-up against Hellmuth. Hellmuth pioneered until almost early before Wolansky regained control. Then Hellmuth found a double, winning with the K 10 against K J all- in preflop. Hellmuth matched his ten on the river to double in the lead.

Shortly after Wolanksy moved all-in button with the 9 and Hellmuth called with the 3 3 . 3 2 6 8 and Hellmuth made a game of three to secure the pot and the title. Wolanksy won $ 299,807 as a finalist
