Windhoek – She grew up in Windhoek where she was born in 1997. In her childhood, she never thought or imagined as a beauty contest . If it was not for his family, his friends and his parents who encouraged him to venture into the beauty pageant industry, the nation would not celebrate his victory aujourd & # 39; hui.

"Honestly, people around me and encouraged me to try it," Miss Namibia Sussie Selma Kamanya said in her interview with the Southern Times last week.

Kamanya will represent Namibia at the 67th Miss Univers 2018 in the Philippines, where the winner will be crowned by outgoing Miss Universe, South African Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters. The 21-year-old beauty queen has no history of pageant, but she says the encouragement she's received from her surroundings has given birth to her passion for beauty.

She described herself as ambivert, down to earth and completely relatable. Experience as a platform to develop one's character and contribute positively to the maturity of a person.

The new Miss Namibia has always had a passion for women's empowerment even before the beauty contest and her title has come to reinforce the vision. The young woman plans to work with Standard Banks' excellent women and the Namibia Diamond Trading Company to build a diamond generation.

While other girls of her age go out together and are in a relationship, Miss Namibia was single. The 21-year-old beauty pageant is a principled woman and she believes her discipline and diligence are a bridge to her success. "I do not like mediocrity, so I always do my best in everything I do," she said.

Kamanya enjoys listening to music and reading interesting articles in magazines or newspapers as a means of de-stressing.Sometimes she is doing workouts for the same cause. Although she balances her extroverted and introverted traits in her personality, the beauty queen loves to be at home surrounded by her family

She holds a degree in economics and is studying for a degree at the University of Namibia. [19659006] She won the Miss Namibia title at the University of Namibia. 38th edition of the beauty contest, which was held in Windhoek on July 7, 2018.
