More than 4,200 photographs were submitted to this year's Insight Investment Astronomy photographer's contest, but only these 25 images were short-listed.
This annual competition, organized by the Royal Observatory of Greenwich, is in its tenth edition. year. Topics this year include a wide variety of topics ranging from the sprawling Milky Way to the storms on Saturn through the glacial tongues and aurora borealis. If it has something to do with space, all is well. This year's contest includes nine different categories and two special prizes. The winners will be announced on October 23, 2018.
