The title of Wimbledon is again in the hands of Novak Djokovic after his dominant victory in two sets against Kevin Anderson.
In the first two sets, it was clear that Djokovic was the best player and Anderson – the semifinal of the hour. The Serb has broken Anderson four times in the first two sets, including taking the opening game of Anderson in each. It was only in the third set that Anderson finally put his legs under him and started to trouble Djokovic. Anderson had five set points but could not convert and in the tie-break, it was Djokovic who came out victorious.

It was an issue of efficiency for the Serbian who got 72% of the first serves and won on 76% of Between them. He was able to convert on all four occasions of breaking points and recorded only 13 direct faults. Djokovic's service went like the whole tournament and with a tired Anderson, his legendary return was as solid as ever.
After a few years, it seemed that injuries could derail the career of one of the best tennis players. , Djokovic is clearly back after winning his fourth Wimbledon title and his 13th Grand Slam. This brings him closer to the 14th of Pete Sampras, who would only count Roger Federer (20) and Rafael Nadal (17) for most of the major victories. This victory will also allow Djokovic to return to the top 10 ATP rankings

11:10 – An expensive double fault of Djokovic gives Anderson's set point at 30-40. With a nice rally, Djokovic manages to equalize and after a new double fault and another set set for Anderson, he finally gets a big shot at 5-5

11:01 – Anderson feels it now. Six aces in this set and another take with a beauty of a volley of setbacks just above the net
10:57 – Djokovic won on the previous 12 points of service, but he gets found this time on a stellar return from Anderson before a possible catch. 4-4.
10:51 – Anderson looks much better now. The service is back and his bottom shots have improved a lot. Holds at 4-3.
10:47 – Djokovic mixes it with his long shots beautifully to keep himself in four points.
10:44 – Djokovic is getting closer to a break in the third set but Anderson's service allows him to take a third-place finish in the third.
10:39 – And another take of Djokovic on four consecutive points. Gets a bit of speed on a pair of services over 120 to close it.
10:36 – Anderson is gaining ground now and is holding back. Strong dose and basic shot.
10:33 – A quick catch for Djokovic on four consecutive points.
10:29 – Third time the charm. Anderson is able to hold his first service match of the third to give him a 1-0 lead. Serve better (80 percent serves for the first time and 100 percent for victory)
SECOND SET
10:25 – Djokovic continued to roll in the second set with a conversion rate of 75 percent serve but added some other non-forced errors to its total (6). Anderson got his service at 64%, but only 50%. The number of unforced errors is even higher with 14 (25 in total). A little over an hour.
10:24 – A couple of good returns and some awesome rallies from Anderson brings him to two but Djokovic sets up and wins the match and the set.
10:17 – A great South African servant gives him a much needed hold. Djokovic will however serve for the whole.
10:14 – Meanwhile, Anderson breaks another Wimbledon record after this last game.

10:12 – Anderson comes out swinging terrible bottom shots and pushes Djokovic to deuce but the Serbian rings to serve. If he can break again, he will have the second set.
10:06 – Anderson puts himself in trouble with a double fault and falls to two breaking points. He is then broken for the fourth time in this match after his 22nd direct foul. In comparison, Djokovic has four.
10:02 – Another Djokovic service game and another 40-15 game. Another rather fast set here until now.
9:57 – Anderson gets his service and opens at 30-0 but Djokovic gets it at two points. The South African still manages to hold after several points of two.
9:50 – No more continuous Djokovic service going through another catch with ease.
9:46 – Djokovic goes back from 40 to 15 and then breaks again to open the second set. It's three for three break opportunities.

FIRST SET
9 : 41 – Anderson made decent shots there but not really a threat as Djokovic took the first place and the first set with ease in just 29 minutes, 6-2. Djokovic won 16 of the 19 points of his service while Anderson has already 11 unforced errors and hit only 45% of his first serve.
