Russian authorities have accused four members of the activist punk band Pussy Riot of interrupting the World Cup final by running in the field.
They are accused of breaking the rules of spectators at sporting events.
The two offenses are punishable by fines of up to 10,000 rubles (£ 121, $ 161) and 1500 rubles, respectively

Contradictory Reactions

A statement from Pussy Riot stated that the goals of their protest included authorities:
- Free all political prisoners
- Stop unlawful arrests at public gatherings
- Allow political competition in the country
- Stop making criminal cases and imprison persons in detention Provisional for no reason
the poet Dmitry Prigov, who opposed the "heavenly policeman who speaks to God in his walkie-talkie" to "the one who makes criminal cases".
Alexei Navalny, anti-Putin activist and Russian blogger tweeted a video clip showing two of the field invaders interviewed.
An angry voice is heard shouting at Mr Verzilov and at one of the women – look disheveled in their fake police uniforms.
"Sometimes I regret that it was not in 1937" says the person off camera, referring to the campaign of terror led by Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin in the communist era.
