NASA cancels release in women's space because it did not have enough suits in the right size – TechCrunch

On Friday, NASA planned to make his first outing in the all-female space, but realized that he did not have enough space suits of the right size for his astronauts.

After making the first space trip this week, astronaut Anne McClain said that the great costume she was wearing did not allow her to move efficiently.

"McClain learned during his first space trip that a medium-sized rigid torso – essentially the shirt of the spacesuit – suited him best," according to a NASA statement.

Because only one medium-sized torso would be ready for release in space on Friday, NASA astronaut Christina Koch will use the suit. Koch will work with astronaut Nick Hague to install lithium-ion batteries for a pair of solar panels at the station.

The situation would be funny if it was not so tragic. Even when some of the brightest minds in the world are struggling to overcome sexism, their inability to address fundamental gender differences is an obstacle.
