The altercation occurred around 8:30 am, after Gaines and her daughter approached the victim at a bus stop, according to a Tennessean affidavit of arrest.

Gaines and her daughter held the victim in turn and assaulted her in turn because of an unspecified incident Friday between the two minors, allegedly said the affidavit.

A video shot by students would show the victim on the floor while Gaines and her daughter assail her.

The victim later told the police that Gaines kicked her face and slapped her hands, the newspaper reported.
