The Seattle storm announced Saturday afternoon that the organization was investigating allegations of domestic violence against Natasha Howard, a WNBA All-Star attacker.

"The organization is aware of recent allegations against Natasha", Lisa Brummel, co-owner of Storm, and Alisha Valavanis, CEO / General Manager declared. "We are in communication with the league and are studying the issue."

At this point, Howard is not being sanctioned by either the storm or the WNBA. Unlike many leagues, the WNBA currently has no specific policy on domestic violence. Before their match against the New York Liberty Sunday night, the Storm released another statement claiming that Howard would be ready for the match.

"Natasha will play in the match tonight", Brummel m said in a report. "We are in continuous communication with the league and their investigation is in progress"

Early Saturday morning, Howard's wife taken to Twitter with videos and screenshots of SMS that, she says, detail various alleged examples of domestic violence and psychological abuse on Howard's part. In addition, she produced text message exchanges on the problem with Valavanis, Storm's general manager, as well as with Howard's agent. According to his complaints, many episodes took place while Howard was playing in Russia during the winter.

Earlier this week, Howard was nominated as a starter for the WNBA 2019 All-Star Game on July 27 in Las Vegas. This is Howard's sixth season in the league, and his second with the storm.
