Navigation is one of the best elements of Google Maps and the feature I use more than anything else. There is a whole range of options, ranging from your usual driving to walking through public transport (if there is one at home). However, it can be dangerous to walk while looking at your phone. Google is adding AR-assisted navigation to Google Maps, with Pixels getting the first preview.

It works exactly as you think: hold your phone and follow the arrows. Do not look at the blue dot or try to orient yourself properly. Let Google guide the way with the beauty of the AR while giving you an overview of the map to help you understand where you are.

The details are rare, so hopefully we'll talk more about it in the next few days.
