A hectic opening night of the 2020 free agent period saw more than 30 NBA free agents close deals on deals, including six with new contracts worth at least $ 60 million. .
These deals are not yet official, so the reported terms could change – or the deals could fail altogether. Overall though, teams and players are on track to finalize these deals soon after the moratorium ended on Sunday.
Here are today’s free agent deals:
- Davis bertans, Assistants accept a five-year, $ 80 million contract.
- Joe harris, Nets accept a four-year, $ 75 million contract.
- Marcus Morris, Clippers accept a four-year, $ 64 million contract.
- Danilo Gallinari, Falcons accept a three-year contract worth $ 61.5 million.
- Jerami grant, Pistons accept a three-year, $ 60 million contract.
- Malik beasley, Timberwolves accept a four-year, $ 60 million contract.
- Jordan clarkson, Jazz accept a four-year, $ 52 million contract.
- Christian wood, Rockets agree to a $ 41 million three-year contract (signature and exchange).
- Goran Dragic, Heat agree to a two-year, $ 37.4 million contract.
- Derrick’s favors, Jazz agree to a three-year, $ 27 million contract.
- Jakob poeltl, Spurs agree to a three-year, $ 27 million contract.
- Mason plumlee, Pistons accept a three-year, $ 25 million contract.
- Rodney Hood, Trail Blazers agree to a two-year, $ 21 million contract.
- Meyers Leonard, Heat accept a two-year, $ 20 million contract.
- Montrezl Harrell, Lakers accept a two-year, $ 19 million contract.
- Derrick jones, Trail Blazers accept a two-year, $ 19 million contract.
- Justin vacation, Pacers accept a three-year, $ 18 million contract.
- JaMychal Green, Nuggets accept a two-year, $ 15 million contract.
- Trey burke, Mavericks accept a three-year, $ 10 million contract.
- Pat connaughton, Bucks accept a two-year, $ 8.3 million contract.
- Alec burks, Knicks accept a one-year, $ 6 million contract.
- Garrett Temple, Bulls accept a one-year contract for $ 5 million.
- Wesley matthews, Lakers accept a one-year contract for $ 3.6 million.
- Drew Eubanks, Spurs agree to a three-year minimum wage contract.
- Jahlil Okafor, Pistons accept a two-year minimum wage contract.
- Dwayne bacon, Magic accept a two-year minimum wage contract.
- Dwight Howard, Sixers agree to a one-year minimum wage contract.
- Udonis Haslem, Heat agree to a one-year minimum wage contract.
- Patrick patterson, Clippers agree to a one-year minimum wage contract.

Today’s deals are trickier to round, as most of them involved the addition of new parties to previously agreed upon agreements. Here’s a recap of what happened:
the Thunder send Steven adams in New Orleans as part of the Jrue Holidays affair between the Pelicans and Bucks. We still don’t know all the moving parts involved in this one, but Oklahoma City is going to acquire – you guessed it – more draft picks.- the Thunder, Mavericks, and Pistons accepted a three-team trade that sends Delon wright in Detroit, James johnson in Dallas, and Trevor Ariza, Justin jacksonand compensation project in Oklahoma City.
- the Pistons agreed to sign and exchange Christian wood to the Rockets as part of their previously agreed upon agreement involving Trevor Ariza (before Detroit redirected him to OKC).
- the Trail Blazers officially acquired Its edges of Celtics, folding this agreement into one Grizzlies/ C’s draft-night agreement.
- the Timberwolves officially finalized his exchange for Ricky rubio.
Here are some of the other headlines of the day:
- De’Aaron Fox and the kings agreed to a five-year maximum salary extension (effective 2021/22; projected value between $ 163 million and $ 196 million).
- Assistants leader John wall would seek a business outside Washington.
- the Raptors will play their home games in Tampa, Fla. to begin the 2020/21 season.
- the Rockets and Magic discussed a Russell westbrook trade, but has not gained ground.
- Anthony davis will take his time to sign his new contract with the Lakers.
- Davis is one of many players set to sign maximum-wage contracts soon, with Brandon ingram, Jayson tatum, and Donovan mitchell.
- Gordon hayward hopes to land a four-year, $ 100 million contract via a signing and exchange with the Pacers.
Despite a busy Friday, there are still plenty of stories to follow over the weekend – five of the top six free agents on our Top 50 list have no new offers in place yet.
