NBA player PJ Tucker sides with Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant.

Durant was exposed by Michael Rapaport for using homophobic slurs in a private conversation on Instagram. The two cursed and cursed each other and the former NBA MVP called Rapaport a “f-kin pale ck sucker”.

Tucker, who plays for the Milwaukee Bucks, told TMZ Sports on Wednesday that he was on Durant’s side.

“He didn’t do anything wrong,” Tucker told the website.

Rapaport posted screenshots of the conversation with Durant on Twitter.

“I get disgusting threats and messages EVERYDAY, but never in my wildest dreams did I think @ KDTrey5 would be one of them,” Rapaport wrote on Twitter. “The Serpent itself is threatening me now, raising my wife and wanting to fight. It’s supposed to be America’s sweetheart, isn’t it? #ImDaRealMVP.”

Durant addressed the exchange with Rapaport on Thursday.

“I’m sorry people saw this language that I used. It’s not really what I want people to see and hear from me,” Durant said. “I hope I can get past him and get back to the floor.”

Durant and Rapaport have had a relationship in the past.

In 2018, Durant’s ESPN show “The Boardroom” hosted Rapaport as a guest. Rapaport then posted a clip from the show of the two talking about seats for the NBA Finals while Durant was with the Golden State Warriors.

But now that Rapaport has exposed Durant on social media, in the social justice-minded NBA, what – if anything – will the league’s reaction be. The NBA recently took action against Meyers Leonard for his use of an anti-Semitic slur during a live stream of a video game on Twitch. Leonard, who was fined, was also suspended for a week.
