The 2019 playoffs kicked off Saturday with a four-game series that began on the first day. The action began with the Philadelphia No. 3 76ers against No. 6 Brooklyn in the first game and it was not exactly what many expected.

Augustin hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key in the final seconds to give the Magic a shocking surprise.
At the same time, the Western Conference saw the Golden State Warriors, the highest ranked, show why they were the favorites by repressing the efforts of the Los Angeles Clippers. This did not happen without drama, however, as Kevin Durant and Patrick Beverley were ejected.
Finally, the San Antonio Spurs ended a tough day by eliminating the Denver Nuggets on the road with a clamor that allowed them to take a 1-0 lead in their series.

DeRozan leads Spurs to game 1 upset
DeMar DeRozan did not experience his best shooting night on Saturday, but he did enough for the Spurs to get a thwarted victory in the first game against the Nuggets. He finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds and six assists to get his team off to a good start.
Jokic wins triple-double in first playoff game, but that's not enough
Nikola Jokic scored the story Saturday night recording a triple-double in his first playoff match. He finished with 10 points, 14 rebounds and 14 assists, but it was just not enough, especially from the point of view of the goals, since the Nuggets dropped to the Spurs in the first match.

Caris LeVert has one of the best stories of the season after returning from a devastating leg injury, and he continued to write history in the first game against the Sixers. The Nets goalie came off the bench to score 23 points and help his team get angry.
Butler playoffs are not enough
Jimmy Butler came to play Saturday afternoon. He had 36 points, a career-high playoff, on 11 of 22 field shots and nine rebounds. Unfortunately, he was pretty much the only Sixer to have played well, while Philly had lost the first game against the Nets.
Dinwiddie blows by Marjanovic on the basic slam
Spencer Dinwiddie has been a remarkable discovery for the Nets and continues to show why. While Boban Marjanovic was watching him in a corner, Dinwiddie decided to exploit the imbalance and kicked a base kick by blowing himself up by the fat man of the Sixers.
Allen denies Harris at the edge
The center of the net, Jarrett Allen, was chic to block several top players throughout the season. In the first quarter, Allen was able to block an attempt to lay-up Tobias Harris while Harris cut the basket.
