It was hot and dry again on Thursday, but the chances of rain will return Friday and Saturday. However, it looks like simple showers or scattered thunderstorms, rather than the good rain we need, and unfortunately, not everyone will see the rain.
Temperatures will abate for a few days before warming up again early next week. More important changes will have to wait until the end of next week, when a stronger cold front will relieve the Labor Day weekend.
