NE-YO and Crystal Renay have a baby on the way!

The 41-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist announced on Sunday that he and his wife were expecting another child. “Glad to announce …… the family is growing … 👶🏽!” NE-YO wrote, adding “Are you ready baby? Let’s go!”

Along with the note, NE-YO shared a video of the couple showing Renay’s baby bump. The pregnant mother only appeared in her underwear while her husband hid her bare breasts with one arm and gently stroked her baby bump with the other.

The star recently opened up to PEOPLE about fatherhood and how her kids are her biggest fans when it comes to her music.

“I know my kids love my music. I don’t know any other artist or their kids, but my kids love my music,” he said. “They’re actually the best people to get reviews for my music because they don’t listen to it the way people listen to music; they listen whether they feel it or not. It’s very useful for me, so normally I run a song for them, and if they like it, I know I’m going in the right direction. “

“They are very quick to tell me how much they don’t like something – as fast as they tell me how much they like,” NE-YO added with a laugh.

He also touched on parenting amid the coronavirus pandemic. “It’s been a bit chaotic, but I’ve always been the punching type and by the grace of God my family is the same,” he said.

“But more time at home just means more time to spend together, more time for us to have fun with each other and more time for them to break more stuff,” he laughed.

Time spent at home also helped NE-YO resolve their differences with his wife Renay. In early 2020, the couple had decided to separate and file for divorce – a decision they have since worked on.

“We have found a way to be happy again, and I can honestly say that we are better now than we were,” NE-YO said of the current state of her relationship with Renay. “It doesn’t matter how much money you make if there isn’t a family to care for after the fact – there are only lessons learned.
