Third-placed Cleveland Indians star Jose Ramirez was eliminated Sunday in a spring training match against the Chicago White Sox, but X-rays showed no sign of a break, a source told Reuters. American League, Jeff Passan, ESPN.

Ramirez had 34 bases stolen to become only the third player in franchise history with 30 homers and 30 flights, joining Grady Sizemore (2008) and Joe Carter (1987), according to ESPN Stats & Information.
He finished third in the AL MVP vote in 2017 and 2018 and joined Mookie Betts and Whit Merrifield are the only players with at least 50 steals and 100 extra goals in the last two seasons.
The Indians will already have more second baseman, Jason Kipnis, and Francisco Lindor, star player of the opening game, at the opening day, as both players have the right stump .
