Neil Druckmann teases a new character for The Last of Us 2

A new tweet from Neil Druckmann, Vice President of Naughty Dog, seems to have teased a new character for The Last of Us 2.

Neil Druckmann recently shared a photo of Bobby Bestseller, an American rapper named Logic, in motion capture gear. The logic also seems to work alongside famous actor Travis Willingham.

All we know so far is that Logic will be involved in the sequel. It's unclear what role celebrity will play, or how they will fit into the next installment of the franchise.

Although Logic's role is unclear at the moment, it seems that the American rapper plays a major role in the upcoming addition to the series The Last of Us.

Neil Druckmann himself had tweeted their role. In addition, the tweet also suggests that the Logic character is important enough to deserve motion capture work.

Druckmann's comment suggests that Logic's behavior involved a form of attempted "brutalization". Therefore, it is possible that the character knows his death at some point in the game. It's based on mere speculation, though.

Until Naughty Dog officially informs fans about The Last of Us 2, the vast majority of theories should be interpreted with a pinch of salt.

We do not know how long Bestseller has been working on the future. If this happened to be their first introduction to The Last of Us 2, the game development stages might not be as close to the end as we might think.

As of this writing, the date of publication of The Last of Us Part II has not yet been confirmed, nor is there any indication of when it was launched. All rumors and leaks seem to indicate its publication later this year, potentially in October. Naughty Dog, however, has not commented yet.

For now, there seems to be a gap in the details about The Last of Us 2. Neil Druckmann's message may have been just a gesture for fans to share with one another something to speculate on. on the next PS4 exclusive. Anyway, at least it's something that's related to the title.
