Despite rumors that the Eagles would be willing to trade it, Nelson Agholor is expected to be back with the Philadelphia in 2019. This comes largely from Jeff McLane of the Inquirer:
Nelson Agholor is likely to stay with the #Eagles, and not necessarily with a new contract, said the source. Would probably accept an attractive offer, and perhaps if it is ready to restructure to play elsewhere with a larger role, it is possible. But we expect him to stay.

The deal between the Eagles and DeSean Jackson has prompted some to question whether Agholor would regain its $ 9.4 million cap this season. There was already speculation that the Eagles might seek to reduce this figure BEFORE Philly acquires Jackson.
If the Eagles can change their 2019 cap while retaining it, they can only change the contract they sign by extending their contract. There is no indication, however, that one is in progress.
The Eagles can remove or trade Agholor before the start of the new league to save $ 9.4 million. The problem is that Agolor proved too valuable to be published without consideration. By cutting him off, the Eagles would not be eligible for a compensatory choice when he entered a new team. It still seems like Agholor's trade is possible, but it seems that Philly will not find the desired value in exchange for its 2015 first-round pick.
So it looks like Agolor will continue to be responsible for the Eagles slots in 2019. That means it will be him, Jackson and Alshon Jeffery, the main Philly receivers. It's a talented trio with which to work with Carson Wentz. Mack Hollins presents itself as a fourth interesting option behind the top three.
Agholor will be more motivated than ever to have a solid season as he will be an unrestricted free agent in 2020. Here is the hope that he will keep the promise he made during his breakthrough in 2017.
