Nestle will close its Indianapolis facilities, leaving dozens of people out of work

INDIANAPOLIS – NestlĂ© USA will close one of its facilities in Indianapolis, leaving dozens of people out of work.

The company filed a WARN notification Monday at the Department of Manpower Development, informing the state that it plans to close its frozen food manufacturing operations at 1301 South. Keystone Avenue starting November 1st. The closures will continue until December 1st.

The closure will affect all employees of the facility, or 172 people according to the company.

"All affected employees have been or will be notified of their departure dates and that their separation will be permanent," the company said in its notice sent to the DWD.
