Netflix appoints Warner Bros. executive Niija Kuykendall as vice president of film – deadline

Netflix has hired the former executive vice president of production from Warner Bros. Niija Kuykendall as the film’s new vice president, reporting to Scott Stuber, the streamer’s global film manager.

Kuykendall, in his role, will oversee a new mid-sized feature-focused group. The former Brown University student began her career in corporate communications at Viacom Inc. in New York. In 2004, Kuykendall moved to Los Angeles to work in film as a development assistant for Beacon Pictures. She then joined 20th Century Fox as Creative Director of Feature Films.
