According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ … a federal judge in Manhattan ruled on Monday that Linda’s libel suit was allegedly plausible defamation in 5 scenes from the critically acclaimed Central Park case 5.
Remember … Linda was the woman who helped pursue Central Park 5, now vindicated, and Felicity huffman plays her in the Netflix series.
The judge has ruled on multiple scenes portraying Linda as racist while leading a police raid on potential suspects in Harlem, withholding DNA evidence from the defense and forcing a confession could prove libelous and cannot be dismissed at this point in time. litigation.
As we reported … Linda sued Netflix and the show’s director for libel in March 2020, saying the show portrayed her as a “racist and unethical villain who is determined to imprison innocent children of color at all costs.”
