Netflix drops the trailer of "The Politician" – Variety

In today's news, Netflix has removed the first trailer of "The Politician" and "Killing Eve" adds two to its distribution for season 3.

MOLDING

Harriet Walter and Danny Sapani, the two alums of "The Crown", will join the cast of "Kill Eve" for his third season. British writer Suzanne Heathcote, whose past credits include "Fear the Walking Dead", will also join the production team as principal screenwriter and executive producer alongside Sally Woodward Gentle, Lee Morris, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Gina Mingacci, Damon Thomas and the star Sandra Oh. Production of season 3 is underway.

Terry O'Quinn has embarked on the next ABC series "Emergence" as a recurring guest. O'Quinn will play the role of Richard Kindred, head of a technology holding company, who will stop at nothing to protect his company and reputation. He will be appearing alongside the star of the series, Allison Tolman, who will play a police chief who will focus on solving the case of a mysterious accident once she has welcomed a young child she will have found near from the accident site.

Netflix debuted the first look at Ryan Murphy's last series "The politician." The story follows Payton Hobart (Ben Platt), a budding politician from Santa Barbara, Calif., who has to go to high school to win the presidency of the student body, carve out a spot at Harvard and eventually become president of the United States. Gwyneth PaltrowJessica Lange, Zoey Deutch, Lucy Boynton, Julia Schlaepfer, Laura Dreyfuss, Bob Balaban and others join Platt for the first season, which will cover eight one-hour episodes.
