A Terminator anime from the legendary studio behind the Ghost in the Shell franchise is coming to Netflix. The streaming giant hasn’t shared any plot details, but showrunner Mattson Tomlin, who worked on Project power for Netflix, says Variety he envisions approaching franchising in a way that “breaks convention, subverts expectations and has guts.” If you’re an anime fan, you don’t need to be introduced to Production IG Apart from adapting the founding manga by Masamune Shirow, the studio has worked on popular series like Psycho-Pass and East Eden.

Netflix has invested heavily in anime in recent months. Earlier this month, he announced he was working with Valve and Studio MIR, best known for producing The legend of Korra and Voltron: legendary defender, to release a Dota 2 animated series in March.
