Netflix Joins End of Mario World Celebrations, Deleting Super Mario Bros. 3 Cartoon on March 31

We hate to remind you, but it’s March already, which means Nintendo will be phasing out a number of Mario products at the end of the month. This includes Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario Bros. 35 on Switch, the original Super Mario Creator online services stop and the New Super Mario Game & Watch the system can no longer be purchased.

If you thought that was a big joke, no – it really looks like Mario’s days are numbered on March 31. To top it off, Netflix has now revealed The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 the cartoon series will be removed from its streaming service. The last date to watch it will be … you guessed it, March 31, 2021.

It seems that this is due to the fact that The adventures of Super Mario Bros. is now available on Paramount Plus. Surely, Netflix’s March 31 cut date is an unfortunate moment.

While this appears to have been resolved, Nintendo still hasn’t explained why it was removing games like Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario Bros. 35 from the Switch eShop on the same date.

While this is only a guess, it seems the video game giant is much more likely to get along THE Legend of Zelda 35th anniversary celebrations. Link’s birthday begins in July when Skyward Sword HD lands on Switch. Nintendo is expected to make more Zelda announcements in the second half of 2021.

Are you going to watch the Mario Bros. above before it was withdrawn at the end of March? What do you think of this war against Mario? Ready to celebrate Link’s birthday? Share your thoughts in the comments.
