Mindunter, a crime drama about the FBI's criminal profiling project and the psychology of the serial killer, is finally entering its second season next month. The episodes of the following season will be broadcast on Netflix on August 16th.

After being open to a host of positive reviews and an excellent reception from fans in October 2017, Mindhunter was another darling of Netflix. Even after waiting a new season for almost two years, I'm still excited. Netflix knew that he had something good on his hands and renewed for a second season shortly after the premiere.

The new season, which follows FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench, and psychologist Wendy Carr in their exploration of criminal psychology, will focus on the murders of children in Atlanta between 1979 and 1981. They did at least 28 known victims.

Mindhunter has already addressed many extremely serious topics, such as the portrait of real-life serial killer Ed Kemp, who murdered ten people and who is still in prison in California today.

The participation of David Fincher, one of the well-known executive producers of the project, is part of the appeal of Mindhunter. Fincher, who is popular for directing films like Zodiac and Fight Club, has been instrumental in bringing Mindhunter to life. He made four episodes of the first season, including the first and the last. Fincher recently confirmed the release date of the second season on KCRW The treatment Podcast.
