Since his surprise announcement a month ago, El Camino: A heartbreaking film Netflix played his cards very close to the chest, refusing even to give a glimpse of his main character, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul).
With the arrival of the movie on Netflix (and in some theaters) in just two weeks, the time has come to lift the veil on Writer Bad's follow-up of screenwriter-director Vince Gilligan, and that's exactly what the service did with the release of El Camino's first full trailer.
From the first moments of the teaser, it is clear that things did not go well for Jesse. Tired and disheveled, we see former apprentice Walter White seeking refuge with the police at his longtime friend, Skinny Pete (Charles Baker). We also have another familiar face in the form of Badger (Matt Jones), who is pretty much the only person that Jesse can count on.
Certainly, the trailer of El Camino contains only a few words, which consist mainly of scenes morose and intriguing, in the haunting song "Black Water" of Reuben and the Dark.
Breaking Bad's long-time fans will notice many references to past events in Jesse's life. You will also have a glimpse of the former methamphetamine cook posing a very Heisenberg trap with the help of a blowtorch and gas bottles.
While the trailer of El Camino: A dreadful movie manages to leave us even more questions than previously, we could not be more excited about seeing where the story goes. Jesse will lead him this time. Fortunately, just wait for the movie to land on Netflix on October 11 to find out.
