“Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj” will not be returning for a seventh season on Netflix.

The news was shared by the 34-year-old comedian on Twitter on Tuesday, who bid farewell to his talk show.

“What a race. @Patriotact has ended,” he wrote. “I’ve worked with the best writers, producers, researchers and animators in the game. My 2 babies were born and raised with the show. TY at @Netflix and everyone who’s watched.”

To end the article, Minhaj made a joke referring to his decor, which was adorned with massive TV screens: “Now is the time to return those screens to Best Buy.”

The tweet included a photo of the comedian on the show’s set, where he often discussed the cultural and political landscape.

Netflix did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

The show ran for six seasons, according to IMDb. He made his debut in 2018.

On the show, Minhaj discussed everything from the coronavirus and George Floyd’s death to international topics such as censorship in China and the Sudanese protests.

Other less political topics were also discussed, including mental health and student loans.

Minhaj recently spoke with Variety about her work with Netflix.
