After earlier this month, Netflix released a full trailer for Nightmare of the wolf, his upcoming Witcher animated film and details shared on the voice cast. Theo James, best known for his lead role in the Divergent series, voices protagonist Vesemir, years before the witcher became Geralt of Rivia’s mentor.

James also voiced the character in the first season of The witcher. “Vesemir grew up as a servant in a nobleman’s domain, working long days for too little money,” Netflix written about charming monster hunter. “He aspires to free himself from his social status and explore the continent to find his destiny.”

During his adventure, he will meet a witch named Tetra, who is seen throughout the trailer. If Tetra’s voice sounds familiar, it’s because it’s voiced by actor Lara Pulver. The main cast is completed by Mary McDonnell as Lady Zerbst, a Kaedweni nobleman, and Graham McTavish as Deglan, a witcher from the Skellige Islands. Notably, McTavish will play Redanian spy master Dijkstra in season two of The witcher.

The Witcher: The Wolf’s Nightmare debuts on Netflix on August 28. This will give fans of the fantasy franchise something to watch ahead of the second season of The witcher starts airing on December 17th.
