Transit centers
According to the agreement, people would be detained at the border who are not entitled to the # 39; asylum. These are, for example, refugees already registered in another EU country.

But according to Dreyer such centers can not be realized with his party. Klingbell calls the compromise of Merkel and Seehofer in the Rheinische Post "a piece of paper with points that nobody understands"
Profiling
Seehofer wants to profile itself especially in Bavaria, where elections have takes place in October as a fighter with problems with migrants. The CSU fears losing the majority in the state parliament by the emergence of the populist AfD (Alternative für Deutschland) who vehemently opposes immigrants.
But Seehofer had problems with Merkel, who maintained his European approach to migration issues. This almost led to a schism of the traditional union of the CDU and the CSU. For a moment the question seemed to overthrow Merkel's fourth government.
