Janine Abbring welcomes her third summer guest of the season on Sunday, August 12: the internet pioneer and technology visionary Marleen Stikker.

The Digital City
Stikker (56) is known as a pioneer of the Dutch Internet. The city of Groningen, born in 1993, is the cradle of The Digital City, the first free social media platform with which the global web, until then largely unexplored, could be explored. Her track record earned her the honorary title of "mother of the creative industry".
Technology
In the press release, Marleen already knows what will be the theme of her TV night: "I looked for fragments for our special relationship to technology . the creation, the seemingly unlimited possibilities with technology as solution to all possible problems, but also the fear of alienation and the effect of "black box": what's going on behind the scenes "The central question for me is whether we can determine our future ourselves."
