The company is trying to find new ways to recognize if a real person is behind an account. This includes the number of accounts per IP address, the frequency with which they are blocked by other members and the number of tweets that they publish in a short time.
According to the Washington Post, some days more than a million accounts are blocked per day. . Since May, more than 70 million users have been banned.
