The animated series of the 90s Rugrats makes a comeback.
The sender Nickelodeon commissioned 26 episodes of a new series
Rugrats, also published in the Netherlands under the name of Ratjetoe, spoke to a group of toddlers and their daily routine who in their imagination was full of adventures. Parents in the children's series generally had no idea what babies had "lived". The original series was released in 1991 and won, among others, four Daytime Emmy Awards and six Kids' Choice Awards.
In addition to the new series, there is also a Rugrats action movie due out in 2020. This will be the fourth movie about Tommy, Chuckie, Phil, Lil, Susie and Angelica. Earlier, The Rugrats Movie (1998), Rugrats in Paris (2000) and Rugrats Go Wild (2003) are out
