11 taxi drivers killed after firing on South Africa

During a bombing of a taxi in South Africa, eleven people were killed Saturday night. There were four news agencies seriously injured AP

The van was ambushed between the Colenso and Weenen images in KwaZulu-Natal province. Armed men jumped from the bushes and opened fire on the minibus. The van transported other taxi drivers who returned from a colleague 's funeral. Taxi drivers came from the Gauteng province of which Johannesburg is the capital.

Police investigate the reasons for the fire, writes AP.

Uber

In South Africa, the battle for control of profitable roads more often leads to violence between rival groups of taxi drivers. Ten people were killed in Cape Town in May. The arrival of the taxi service Uber led to the intensification of the battle.
