Public transport in Amsterdam and Amstelveen completely shoveled

The Amsterdam tram and bus lines will soon join the North-South line. Many tram lines that are now going to Amsterdam Central Station will soon be driving from west to east. This means more frequent transfers, but a faster trip.

Those who travel to Amsterdam by bus, for example from Amstelveen, will also have to face many changes. For example, buses do not go further than the Amsterdam Zuid station or the Marnixstraat bus station. Especially at the Zuid station, the transfer means a lot of walking.

The express tram (metro line 51) will continue to operate at the moment, but in 2019 the direct connection to Amsterdam Centraal will disappear. The express tram then becomes a regular tram and shortened to the Spaklerweg.

Between De Pijp and CS there is not only line 24, but of course also the new line 52.

Line 32 (Buikslotermeerplein – Central Station) will be canceled. From Olof Palmeplein to Johan van Hasseltweg, you can take line 35. You will get to the central station with the new line 52.

Line 33 (Nieuwendam – Central Station) will be canceled. On lines 37 and 38 of IJdoornlaan and Amerbos (both at Noord metro station), on the Waddenweg – Meeuwenlaan drive lines 35 and 38. From Johan Van Hasseltweg (Noorderpark metro station ) you are traveling with the new line 52 to the central station. ] Line 269 (Station Sloterdijk – ALO) is included in the timetable of line 69.

Line 7 (Slotermeer – Flevopark) runs from Weesperlein via Sarphatistraat, Czaar Peterstraat and Verbindingsdam to Azartplein.

Line 14 (Slotermeer – Flevopark) runs from Rokin to Damrak via Central Station. The section section between Slotermeer and Rokin no longer crosses line 14.
