HBO has for the first time given more clarity on the release dates of the last season of Game Of Thrones. Casey Bloys said at a meeting of the Television Critics Association that the series is expected in the first half of 2019, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Previously, fans were left in the dark and only 2019 was the release date. The eighth season has six episodes. "It's fine," says Bloys.
The boss of HBO also had news on the prequel of Game Of Thrones. According to him, the recordings will start only next year and not again in October, as reported earlier this month by various US media. "I do not know where it comes from, but we hope to start in early 2019," Bloys said. For example, no director has yet been appointed for the project and the distribution is not yet known.
