Fans of Game of thrones can start counting down: HBO confirms that the last season of the hit series will be aired in the first half of 2019.
HBO program director, Casey Bloys, confirmed at a TV audience meeting that the last six episodes of the fantasy series are scheduled for the beginning of next year.
Expectations
People around the world are eagerly awaiting the end of the series. The seventh-century finale was good for no less than 16.5 million viewers worldwide. Expectations are high for the eighth season when the recordings were completed
Spinoff
Bloys also had news about the announced fallout of the Game of Thrones . Prequel records will not begin until next year. It contradicts earlier reports that production would begin in October. It will be at the earliest beginning of the year 2019, according to Bloys, there is still no director for the moment, let alone that the characters were cast.
