Fires began in the Shasta-Trinity area of California and turned into a storm of fire last Thursday. It was so big that the flames jumped down the Sacramento River and reached the west side of the town of Redding. About 90,000 people live there.
Some 37,000 people were forced to leave their homes under an evacuation order because the fire on the west side of the city was still burning.
