Built in 1954, the Gardline Seeker became the floating broadcast base of a new "Laser Hacker" 558 in 1983. The ship was renamed Communicator. Four years later, the adventure at sea was already final, but the radio experiments continued. It is high time also the MV demolished Communicator a posthumous but enduring tribute. Radioships.com gets to work. A new miniature tin version is on the way. The new edition bears the name RS10 and is made at the usual scale of about 1: 400.
During those years when the Communicator was deployed as a mission ship, many things changed, moved and moved the bridge.
