Netflix decided that there would be no third season of the Marvel Luke Cage series. The second season came out in September.
"Unfortunately, there is no new season of Luke Cage ," Netflix and Marvel announced in a joint statement. "We are extremely grateful to everyone who has worked on the series and thank the fans and viewers for their support."
Luke Cage is the second series of Marvel in a week that will not continue. Netflix. Iron Fist is also not the subject of any follow-up after the second season.
The two series are part of a four-part series of Marvel on Netflix. The first was Daredevil, where the third season of Friday was put online, then Jessica Jones who also did two seasons. After two seasons Daredevil and a season of the other series, Marvel made a cross: The Defenders .
