Samsung will provide its first smartphones in early 2019 with the update for Android 9.0 Pie. As we wrote recently, there will be a beta program for Pie. Of these, some support pages have been posted online. This program will probably go to S9 and S9 +. XDA knows via a source that this beta program should be online by the end of the month, although it can not confirm this information. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will not be part of it either.
This corresponds to the way in which the Oreo tests were conducted last year: Note 8 was then excluded from the beta program and applied only to the S8 and S8 + models. Initially, only the United Kingdom, the United States and South Korea will be eligible for the beta version of Android Pie.
