After only a few laps, Romain Grosjean was already one of the first retirements of the American Grand Prix. The Haas home race seemed to be saved after Kevin Magnussen took two points after finishing ninth, but it's now on loose legs. The Dane must come to the marshals to have exceeded the maximum amount of fuel.
Teams are allowed to use more fuel from next season, but this year the limit is 105kg for a full race. K-Mag would have consumed more and could therefore be disqualified.
In Italy, the points of Romain Grosjean have already been removed by the FIA, after which Haas appealed. The ground used was illegal according to the stewards, but Haas did not think so. This case should begin in November.
Magnussen used more than 105 kg and was reported to the stewards. Something else that could be a DSQ … # F1 #USGP
