In the show, part of the audience is literally in the kitchen of Soof (played by Maike Boerdam). They sit on stage and during the show, they also eat snacks with what is cooked during the show.
The kitchen has turned out to be a recurring problem. "That's been a problem," says Thie. "The kitchen is on a turntable, but when more than eight actors danced there, the engine stopped, the cooktops continued to burn and the oven did not go well," sums up the director. "It was dangerous because there is also dancing in the kitchen and an actor puts his head in the oven."

To top it off, the kitchen turned out to be too high. part of the audience was not clearly visible. "The saw had to be in, which was also a complicated operation." However, all the problems could be solved in time. "The general went well on Thursday, we are ready for tonight's first test in Almere," said Thie, relieved.
